AUDIO FORENSICS
Audio forensics is a field of forensic science which involves enhancing and authenticating sound recordings for litigation or private use.
Audio forensic evidence may come from a criminal investigation by law enforcement or as part of an official inquiry into an accident, fraud, accusation of slander, or some other civil incident.
The primary aspects of audio forensics are to establish the authenticity of audio evidence, performing enhancement to audio recordings to improve speech intelligibility, audibility of low-level sounds and interpreting and documenting sonic evidence through digital signal processing.
Unfortunately, audio evidence is often recorded in less than ideal conditions and requires specialized skill sets to define the events as they occurred. At Eminence Forensic Audio, we use the best software programs and forensic techniques to decrease and eliminate unwanted noise while increasing the intelligibility of the critical content.
